The Nightmare of Liz

The movie is constantly making fun of Liz's lack of education and sophistication, which Russell plays at such a high register that it sometimes feels cruel. Horror mocks the very idea that there could be any dignity to that life by literally spelling out the word dignity on a scrabble board. The difference is that the former film allows for an emotional connection and the latter doesn't.
