Hausione Wept and Embraced the Ship
Hausione swore to his wife that he would return before the moon had rounded twice her orb. The ship moved farther from the shore until she could not distinguish his loved countenance. When she could no longer see the sails with anxious heart she saw her lonely couch and laid herself upon it. Couch and room renewed her sorrow and reminded her how much of life was absent on the sea.
