The Role of Contrarian Voices in Strategy
In terms of the top five shows, there's a couple of characteristics of fame draws audiences. But even more importantly than that, I think it's sort of anti-establishment voices who sort of speak their minds from seats of power. A contrarian voice who isn't in a big agency or a big organization is just considered a nut. And so for me, it's if you're doing the fundamentals and you're not producing great work, then that's an issue of talent, none of the fundamentals.
