I think most people would underrate their own experiences because it's normalized. I definitely underrate how some of the education, the experiences, what I see as normal through 30 years of footy is abnormal. But when you actually get a chance to sit down and people tell their story and share their journey that they think's just normal, it's riveting. It's fascinating. Everyone's story, when told, has an effect. It ripples out and it teaches someone something in their life. So I think we all underrate how important our own stories are.
