There was definitely an impression as well that Jake was addicted to adrenaline and chaos, but that he was not emotionally mature enough yet to deal with that. Now, after listening to his side of the story, hearing him admit his mistakes and be vulnerable, audiences are more open to Paul's brand. "When you've got a bunch of children and teenagers watching this stuff, I don't think there is savvy to kind of see through the PR spin," she said.
