I think the word that describes what you're talking about is a narrative and some narratives were plausible than others. And I'm okay with the narrative rather than a mathematical model on either side of this debate. There's almost very little evidence and we're speculating about which narrative is more plausible. That seems like unlikely to be resolved in the near term. Maybe I can help us fix it.
