The Fed Dropped Interest Rates to Zero in 2020

The era of zero percent money, at least for non-giant banks, is very much over. If you're now making a mortgage at three percent, or an auto loan at five percent, the math doesn't work. Deposits are starting to go out the door, creating funding pressures as they go up. That's usually a lagging indicator that I see before the rest of the year.
