Peter fussy is a criminologist at the university of essex. He studied technological surveillance for more than 20 years. Started looking at close circuit television, c c t v cameras. I was always surprised by how little people n concerned about it. It's horrible. Its invasion of privacy. This technology is being installed with zero public oversight and accountability. We'reb bullied into taking our picture in order to get our keys. Even popstar taylor swift secretly deployed the technology to root out starkers. But while the public outcry has led some places to ban the technology, london's police tested a highly aggressive version of it in ten different public spaces.
