The Politics of the Dobbs Decision
California tried to repeal its civil rights initiative so that they could re-impose race based quotas and the public rejected that attempt. Americans feel correctly in my view that race based affirmative action goes against the intent of the civil rights act of 1964 as well as the equal protections clause of the Constitution. It'll be interesting to see how the Democrats use both of those decisions in the upcoming election.
