How to Collect Crickets in Hawaii
Marlene Zuck is an evolutionary biologist and behavioral ecologist who specializes in insect reproduction. She has spent a lot of time observing how crickets do it. You go outside at night and you listen for cricket song. There is a certain amount of skill involved in sound localization. And then you have to just kind of pounce with your hand, but they don't bite and it's okay.
