There are a couple known distinct bichemical problems, glucoss chronically elevated glacation is one of them. The hemoglobin a one c test came into vogue and basically single handedly killed the oral glu tolerance test. I've not seen that quantified. So i'll be a little agnostic until we can see something, and i'll continue to kind of poo poo it. But the amic test is not the same as the fasting test. Thats why iam enthusiastic about levels because if someone can't get their clinitian to do an oroglucos tolerance test, and that would not be easy to do.
