Private Equity

I did want to ask about certain types of investment styles that become quite popular. One has been private equity who kind of almost present themselves as value investors. Their idea being if they they find underperforming businesses then they come in using some financial leverage but never the less they change the operating model and fix up the business. I worry at the extent to which when the things have gone badly even scandalously badly in various industriesPrivate equity has been so much involved sitting where I am in Kent I've got coastline on two sides of me and all that coastline is ruined by sewage pumped into sea by a company owned by private equity.
