The Importance of Unity in Canada
I used to sit on the board of directors for a Western Federal Independence Party. We created this political party out of nothing, basically. And so for me, the biggest eye-opener was, you know, we've always had kind of an East West divide in Canada. I mean, it was such an amazing, astonishing thing to see. It didn't matter what color your skin was. You know, like the unity that happened. ...We were all just Canadians.
