The Importance of Peep's Music

David Bianculli: Peep was a guy who in another generation might have been just a pure rock guy. He had an older brother who really turned him on to a lot of punk rock, things like no effects and blink 182,. And yeah, hip hop, which of course is inescapable I suppose. The idea that he could be in to blink 182 and Future was not unusual for a 1920 year old kid growing up in the suburbs of New York. It's all sort of pop in the big Peep-hop kind of work sense of it.
