The Power of God's Action in Pharaoh

God never rips the steering wheel out of Pharaoh's hand. He doesn't start playing divine puppet master. What God does is after many chances become increasingly involved in the tyrannical volatility of the suppressor as a way to magnify his right hand reaching out to rescue his people. Some may struggle with the idea that God ever became the active agent in Pharaoh's heart. I won't pretend there's no mystery left in this story.
