The Role of Latinos in the Democratic Party

The conversations around the vp pick in 2020 is almost certainly going to be a black candidate. There's very little talk about it being elitino candidate It seems to me like latinos do not play Nearly the same role that the black electorate does in the democratic party You look at the numbers. So black Americans make up about 12 percent of the population and they make up about12 percent of the electorate as well Latinos make up about 20 percent of thePopulation. We're going to see latino voters become a much larger part of the electorate in the coming decade and beyond so that's what the stakes are.
