Is There a Tribe of Better Decision Makers?

A lot of this is just very much around mindset. You talked about surprise before. When you leave a party, what are you talking about? Are you talking about the food? The playlist? What surprised you? So in our personal lives, we're open to talking about surprises. But in our business lives, we bury that because, well, that's not what the boss wants to hear or we don't have time for that. Meanwhile, that might be the real essential thing that unlocks a better decision.
