The Leader Is Not the Therapist
There's almost this cultural value that the leader is the therapist. The leader can still be caring and compassionate, but there's not the intimacy sort of one on one. So leaders need to be pastorally caring for people and they need to be with the people. But then they also need to be, there needs to be a sense of distance where they can see the bigger picture.
