Aaron Carroll: A recent New Yorker article was really excellent about lossless versus lossy compression of language. It can try to simulate a real doctor's response and, in fact, even be doctor's response. I imagine a world where I sit down and I've got my own large language model co-pilot that is trained on all of my charts from the last 10 years or how I care for people with diabetes. He says he sees enormous promise in drafting language to support our work that is personalized around the way we might practice.
