The Value of Perception

The Veblen effect is when scarcity drives demand for a product or service. If you want to increase your value, you have to lower your volume of talking about the things in your life that make you feel good and give you an edge over other people. The most important thing I think for you to think about is whether the value of those things is a function of your perception or a function of their function.
