The Importance of Lighting Environments

Research could be used to help night shift workers or even long-haul travelers. One of the really important things about this work is it gives us a kind of scientific framework with which we can start thinking about how best to create lighting environments and devices like visual displays that use changes in color, says Dr Tim Brown from Manchester University. The first geological map of a nation by the humble canal surveyor William Smith reputedly changed the world because it's also new all about fossils.
