How Do You Protect Your Writing Time?
The premise for the disease in your book came from you yourself witnessing your community of activists in detroit, that when they experienced a loss. You wondered what would happen in a world where grief actually did stop you. And lastly, i just want to add that my interactions with your, your assistant, jes, in scheduling this interview, you've set up this system of self care. Something that feels akin to ritual to me, a demarcation of a different sort of space, a space of not doing.
