The Reason God Chooses the Unqualified

I learned early that God's rationality is so far beyond ours that it seems irrational. I often find out the reason only in the great stories and the great protagonists. One of my favorites is the story of Gideon, he's this kid who's the lowest. The last one you would think would be chosen. And all through scripture, all through Hebrew scripture, into the New Testament, God picks the spring and just people. Sometimes the funniest people.
