Is Document Review Really the Practice of Law?
The question really becomes, is it the practice of law? I'm sure some of the decisions software will make for you. Maybe it can be viewed as that, but a lot of it is not. It might be able to even determine how often certain contract language is challenged in litigation or something. Or there's the software that can predict outcomes of litigation based on where it is and what court they're in. But is that the practice law or is it just assembling data? You know, that's a good question.
