Early Christian Theology

Early Christians were Jewish monotheists, and sold the cult of Christ was not separate from the cult of God the Father. There was only one true God for the early church, and worship was directed to the Father and His Son. With the Apostolic Foundation laid in the writings of the New Testament, the Church Fathers continued to grapple with the mysteries of the Godhead. How could Christians be monotheists and also worship Christ alongside the Father?
