The Importance of Open-Ended Funds
The number of units available in an ETF is governed by the demand, not how many people are buying or selling. That doesn't affect the price of theETF on any given day. What matters is just that there is a market maker there who is able to create more units whenever they want. And at the same time, redeem units, if supply is more than demand - so that is how we essentially grow the fund.
