Nudging is basically taking that primary care doctor energy and distributing it into people's pockets and beds and potties. 80% of what we spend money on in healthcare is not the social determinants of care, he says. The cure for those things are not available in a helicopter or a drug or a scalpel they're available in tiny tiny tiny emotional sometimes clinical sometimes technical nudges over time. John wants to help digital health back players rise up and form their own public health tickers whether they get bought by established players then develop the ability to do this work.
