How Do You Start a First Time Teacher?
In most schools, I think they have like things like Center for Teaching. And some of them are could be really helpful when it comes to tips and first time teaching. One thing that I remember in Vanderbilt, they teach us how to erase on a blackboard. Try not to make a big deal of anything. Don't get mad if kids come in a little bit late the first day. Welcome them. Then I just try to get into my spiel where I tell them what class it is. So true. You don't like just want to help out.
