There's all these crazy paranoid episodes surrounding Native Americans and around other types of movements that people think are stirring within the natives. And I talk about King Philip's War in which, you know, New England settlers had some Indian communities on their side in the war and also out of Indians on the other side of the war. The Indians in the praying village villages were rounded up and interned on Deer Island, where tons of people died,. survivors were sold into slavery. It's one of the great early atrocities of American history; it foreshadows things like the Japanese internment in World War II.
