The Importance of Settlements in Israeli Politics
The settlements that have been set up in the occupied territories since 1967 range from small, what are called outposts, to cities. They're built on occupied territory in violation of international law. The infrastructure that Israel has created, belies the idea that Israel ever had any intention of giving the occupied territories back.
