Case 182: Freda Burnell & Florence Little
Casefile True Crime
The Death of Frida Burnell
Frida burnell was found dead in an alley 90 meters from her home. She had been beaten to death with a piece of cloth stuffed inside her mouth. Her wrists and ankles were tied behind her back with rope. The shocking murder rattled the typically care free townsfolk. In a desperate bid to identify frida's killer, locals carried out a seance. It was widely believed that such acts allowed communication with spirits who might be able to provide crucial information. According to one participant, the sance succeeded with the spirits offering a description of frida's murderer. This description just so happened to match that of a man seen loitering near the alley shortly before her body was found there
