Is There a Space in the Enlightenment Right Now?
I feel like there's a space that has opened for us to be able to re-explore all these strange ancient legends, and let's say, re-present them to the world in a way that is kind of, that will enliven Christianity. So I'm really excited to see what Martin has been doing for that. Nothing was as off putting to me as the Sermon on the Mount. It seems like C. S. Lewis and Tolkien in some ways, they set the ground in a time where Christian legends were almost impossible. They basically rediscovered pagan imagery and pagan storytellingAlmost like an Old Testament type of storytelling.
