Is There Room for a New Near Universal Great Flood?

i become increasingly aware of just how thoroughly cosmology, history, anthropology, biology, psychology and more have been infected by a reductionist, materialist group think that is philosophically incoherent. And i can't help but wonder how different the received facts might look without that,. especially as i see mingly every discipline and institution of science collapsing into a deconstructionist post modernism.
