We do not have the proper virtues developed to deal with constant news, constant entertainment. Media prior to maybe 1920 was slow and didn't require a lot of capital. Once you're there, now you have to generate content. Poor Richard Tomanek is content. He's just writing. So when he was going to fill a few column inches, it would be interesting and better than Walter Winkle. You know, but now capital, so much capital is required that the media isn't part of mainstream culture.
