Secundum Atroceptal Defects - What Are They?

If the resorption is full at that part of the septum, and you're left with a whole, then you essentially have a communication from the left atrium to the right atrium. The majority of abnormalities in septum primer are more osteo-primum. You can also get an inferior sinus vanosis defect where there's a lack of septation between the pulmonary vein on the lower end and the inferior vena cava as well. And finally, there's the unroofed coronary sinus where there’s a failure of septated between the inferior left atrium and the roof of the coronary sinus.
