Teaching a Foreign Language to Your Child

With with the native language, you have a ton of repetition. So if you are italian, and your child is learning italian from you, well, you have the benefit of every single day, all day, speaking italian to them. They are hearing italian every waking moment. Each year they're getting thousands of hours of italian listening. T doesn't help them in any kind of real communication. Thy're not learning the language really. I guess the good thing i could say about it is, at least they're learning the idea that english is fun,. But that's all. It's not effective at all.
