The Cost of Extending Fixed Rate Debt

I would look at anything with a big picture knowing the interest rates are high right now and everyone's projecting them going down. I'm not really a big fan of writing multi million dollar checks to banks if you don't have to. There are some operators that will keep deals longer than 10 years, but I don't participate in those because that means I have a job for more than 10 years. If I can't get my fund out in 10 years, I don't do the deal.
