Partnerships and Affiliates - What I Learned

When you're a new company, and you don't have a massive mailing list, having a great product is not enough for an affiliate. So I brought this guy on specifically to help with partnerships and affiliates. And what I learned was it was really easy to get people excited about the product. We were just too early for that role. It takes months or like a year to actually have that trust and then do something together.
