The Cheetah Cheats
The problem for a cheetah is it doesn't need to be able to run fast in order to catch its prey but if its limbs are too long then they won't be powerful enough to control that prey once it's caught. We can actually show how that works by doing a simulation of running with Jess pulling the hind legs and Andrew pulling the front legs. There's a potential for 7-meter stride length in cheetahs. You can start to see how that's possible.
