What Is Monotheism and Monotheistic Worship?

In 2 Kings, Israel's kings are judged on their monotheistic worship of Yahweh. This is different than the way that we think about our political leaders today and how they're evaluated monetarily or Economically. The thing is how we do it on the idolatry thing. We don't sit around be like, this guy's poll numbers are in the toilet because idolatry is everywhere.
