It seems like most of production has been shifted into a place that's known as iphone city. Competition is becoming real they have had to raise wages a little bit, improved conditions just to attract enough workers. It's really hard to do what china's work force has been historically for the last 20 years, or so, 30 years. What other work force can you rouse at the middle?

Paris Marx is joined by Brian Merchant to discuss the development of the iPhone, how Apple manages the press, and how the parts of the company’s supply chain that get too little attention.
