The Pendulum Swings Too Far
I like to think of it more as an upward spiral than a pendulum. There are actual pain points, and in particular for MPAs, the pain point was we didn't have control over UI feedback. We couldn't very easily put some spinner in place or whatever. It was just not a very common thing that we could do very easily.
