Ovenaxes on Line, a Potential Biomarker for Sudden Infant Death Arerum
Sudden infant death sindrum is something that i think we all kind of generally know about. But the reason we don't know much about it is because there's not much to be known about it. Researchers looked at a very small sample, only 67 unexpected deaths and compared it to ten gender match controls. The interesting thing that they did as they were able to look at blood that was taken soon after birth from all these babies,. They com ared the levels of buteral colinesteres in their bodies prior to the death. This could be a good candidate for an autonomic nervous system marker which would help us understand why infants die so suddenly.
