The Importance of Belarus Playing a Mediator Role in Ukraine
Belarus is playing a mediator role in the Ukraine conflict. CNN's John Defterios says he doesn't think Belarus' Lukashenko is doing exactly what Putin wants. He adds that it's good for Ukraine when Russian forces are threatening to fight each other rather than fighting the Ukrainian army. But this does not mean there will be some breakthrough as a result of this, Defterios said.
