My dad's tale is the worm's eye view of the war, from joining the t a light anti aircraft regiment as a despatch rider in liverpool in 19 39 to his honor medical discharge in 19 forty six. Dad gave many vivid descriptions of the desperate situations he faced and the absolutely harrowing conditions he endured. He most deftly used all his nine lives. His stories are also imbued with a very real and persistent humanity. And he includes many amusing escapades too.
