Do You Think the D O J Is Launching a Lawsuit Against the Government?
The federal government has launched a lawsuit against private sector security firms. The aim is to ensure that they are in compliance with their cibe security requirements. A whistle blower tipped off the government about breaches at one company, which was then sued for non-compliance by the government. It's safe to say this sort of scrutiny is what we can expect from here on out, i think. And so organization should be performing gap analysis and setin compliance assessments against their requirements on an ongoing basis.
