Fuel Poverty in the UK
The cost of energy has been rising, and not just in the u k. A global squeeze on energy supplies pushed up prices last year. Russia being the leading exporter of natural gas, its to fears of a huge increase in fuel poverty. People are forced to spend a high proportion of their income on energy bills. The extent of quite dire poverty in this country is something that i think people couldn't have anticipated.
