I don't think any person who opposes abortion is necessarily a yahoo or a backward, he says. There are good grounds for supposing that at some point in the future, assuming the planet survives, the verdict on abortion is going to be negative. So I think there's a good chance that the religious criticism of abortion will, in the end, went out against the secular attachment to abortion.
