The History of the Trojan War
As the Greeks spread their influence eastward into Anatolia, they encountered a city called Troy. The people of Troy were called the Trojans, and very little is known about them with any certainty. They apparently did not have a written language. But oral tradition tells us that the Mycenaeans invaded Troy, and the Trojan War began.
