The Panopticon Prison
Jeremy Bentham came up with his idea of the ultimate way to control inmates at great cost-savings for the government. He created a prison, an ideal prison, that he called the panopticon. It sounds like a transformer. Pan means all and optics are seen. So we're going to have an all-seeing prison that in some ways won't even need a warden for the jail. But the inmates can never tell if the guard is looking at them. Or even if there is a guard, for that matter.
